Accompanist
Ruth Murcutt commenced piano lessons at the age of four. Her high school years led to study at the NSW Conservatorium, and this, in turn, led to full time study as a music teacher. Ruth's teaching career began in the Blue Mountains where she taught choral, woodwind, and recorder ensembles.
Since her retirement in the Adelaide Hills, Ruth has directed and accompanied a small group of singers, who performed at nursing homes, and retirement villages,.She also filled in on occasions for Choir Cecilia before becoming our resident accompanist in 2023.

You can join our choir either by coming to one of our rehearsals at the Mt Barker Anglican Church Hall, 7.00 pm on Wednesdays, or you can ring our president, Jill on 0411 653 060 or our secretary Jane on 0421 357 351
No experience required! No auditions!
To cover costs there is a fee of $60 to be paid at the beginning of each quarter.

Rehearsals
Term 2 Rehearsals
7:00 pm to 9:30 pm Wednesday evenings during school terms at Christ The King Anglican Church Hall, 40 Hutchinson St, Mount Barker SA 5251 Members attending rehearsals are requested to assist in Covid Safe setup and packup activities.
Term supper nights will be held at the beginning of each term.
